Traditionen tro skal Danmark have fundet deres bidrag, der skal repræsentere Danmark i Eurovions Song Contest, der afholdes i Tevl Aviv i år. Det danske Melodi Grand Prix 2019 finder sted den 23. februar i Boxen i Herning, men allerede nu, er de 10 deltagere præsenteret, og du har mulighed for at høre deres sange.
I dette års Melodi Grand Prix findes der en hel del velkendte navne. Julie Berthelsen stiller op med Nina Kreutzmann Jørgensen, hvor de skal synge sangen League of Light, mens Den Store Bagedyst-deltager Jasmin Gabay stiller op med sangen Kiss Like This.
Den tidligere X Factor-deltager Sigmund, stiller også op i år, hvor han skal forsøge at vinde den danske sangkonkurrence med sangen Say My Name. Et dansk indslag kommer der også med Humørekspressen, der skal optræde med sangen Dronning af baren. Humørekspressen kender du måske fra VM-slutrunden 2018 i Rusland, hvor de indspillede en VM-sang med Kandis forsangeren, Johnny Hansen.
Foruden de kendte navne, så deltager også Rasmus Farrtoft med Hold My Breath, Leeloo med sangen That Vibe, Teit Samsø med Step It Up, Simone Emilie med Anywhere og Marie Isabell med sangen Dancing with You in My Heart.

Når vinderen af det danske Melodi Grand Prix 2019 er fundet, har vinderen lidt under en måned til at indstille sig på den store internationale sangkonkurrence, Eurovision Song Contest 2019, som afholdes i Israel.
Det skyldes, at Netta vandt med nummeret Toy i 2019, og traditionen tro, er det den vindende nation, der står for at afholde konkurrencen det efterfølgende år.
Eurovion Song Contest 2019 afholdes med to semifinaler henholdsvis den 14. og 16. maj, og så er der finale den 18. maj.
